CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-Year Program - May be Repeated - No Age Requirement
  • 45-Minute Private Lessons
  • Large Ensemble (If none available, approved activity)
  • Mid-sized or Chamber Ensemble (If none available, approved activity)
  • One-Half Solo Recital
  • One Integrated Arts Performance (i.e. Holiday Walk, Seeing Stars Benefit, Faculty Recital)
  • 30-Minute Piano Lesson OR Theory Class/30-Minute Theory Lessons
  • Attendance as an audience member (not performer) at six Flint School of Performing Arts or Flint Symphony Orchestra performances - turn in signed programs
ADVANCED CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-Year Program - Ages 15 and up
  • 60-Minute Private Lessons
  • Large Ensemble (If none available, approved activity)
  • Mid-Sized or Chamber Ensemble (If none available, approved activity)
  • Non-Piano Majors - 30-Minute Piano Lessons, Piano Majors - 30-Minute Organ or Harpsichord Lessons
  • Full Solo Recital
  • One Integrated Arts Performance (i.e. Holiday Walk, Seeing Stars! Benefit, Faculty Recital)
  • Theory Class or Lessons
  • Attendance as an audience member (not performer) at six Flint School of Performing Arts or Flint Symphony Orchestra performances - turn in signed programs
All instruction must take place with Flint School of Performing Arts Faculty.
